Helping Others Like it is Natural

Many compliments were given to those that provided for and/or assisted with the hospitality room for the girl's freshman basketball tournament. Coach Williams said thank you to: Hannah hunter, Jayce Turner, Shekinah Robberson, Lindsay Renwick, and Desirer Bailey.

Operation Santa Claus

The toy drive for kids that may not receive a Christmas as very successful. Led by Desirer Bailey, Lindsay Renwick, and Shekinah Robberson PHS 4-H was able to collect 146 items. This was the first year members participated in this event and we expect to collect more and more each year. Toy collection was accomplished by Desirer Bailey, Lindsay Renwick, Shekinah Robberson, Skylor George, William Askew, Jayce Turner, Grant Townsend, Allie Harper, and Kandice Swenney.


Great job!


P.S. There were approxiamtely 550 items donated parish-wide and PHS members collected 25% of this total. This group is all about unselfishness.

Tri-Parish Bake Off Dec. 9th

This past weekend we had three participants in the Tri-Parish 4-H Bake-off with Allie Harper receiving First place with her Bread in a Loaf Pan. Other participants were Lindsay Renwick and Hannah Hunter. Allie Harper and Jayce Turner were also present to assist with display of baking items.

Congratulations to the following PHS 4-H members for their participation and placing the the 4-H competitions between 3 parishes (Caddo, Bossier, and Webster):

Jayce Turner  4th place finish

Hannah Hunter 2-1st place, 2nd place, 2-3rd place, and a 5th place finish in photography.

Congratulations Allie Harper!!!

Allie was chosen from MANY 4 Her's to attend the National 4 H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia for her excellence in compiling her 4 H portfolio. This is a great honor to participate in a great leadership opportunity and assisting with development of national 4 H curriculum.
