I graduated from LSUS in 2000 with a B.S. in Mathematics and returned to school less than a year later to earn my teaching certification. I taught at the middle school level for two years and this is my fifteenth year teaching at Parkway. I completed my Master's in Mathematics through Nicholl's State in 2014. I am also an adjunct instructor at BPCC where I teach evening classes.

In 2006, I was awarded the Louisiana Association of Teachers of Mathematics Outstanding High School Teacher. I received  a KTBS One Class at a Time Grant. The 2012-2013 school year was a huge year for me professionally as I was honored with the Optimist Club Award, the LATM Outstanding Teacher High School Teacher and was Parkway High School's Teacher of the Year.

I live in South Shreveport with my husband, Ron,  and two sons, Logan age 16 and Chandler age 12. Logan is a junior at Parkway and Chandler is in 7th grade at Elm Grove Middle.

It is my goal to provide my students with a strong foundation in mathematics and a desire to learn now and in the future.
