Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) David Hadden is the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor at Parkway High School. In this position, Colonel Hadden serves the needs of 317 cadets where he strives to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community. His objectives are to educate and train cadets in citizenship, promote community service, instill responsibility, character, and self-discipline, and provide instruction in air and space fundamentals.
Colonel Hadden spent 23 years in the Air Force. In his last position on active duty, Colonel Hadden served as the Chief, Nuclear Logistics for Headquarters Eighth Air Force. In this position, he served as the Eighth Air Force Commander’s key advisor for logistics, maintenance, and stockpile management.
Colonel Hadden enlisted in the Air Force in 1986 and was commissioned through Officers Training School in 1989. After graduating from OTS, he was selected for duty as a Missileer at Whitman AFB, MO. In 1993, he transferred to Barksdale AFB, La., and cross flowed into maintenance munitions career field serving as the maintenance supervisor at the largest munitions squadron in the Air Force. He then transferred to the Kirtland Underground Munitions Storage Complex at Kirtland AFB, NMex, serving as the maintenance supervisor at the Air Force’s largest nuclear weapons depot. After tours in Greece and again at Barksdale, Colonel Hadden served as the 509th Munitions Squadron Commander followed by duties as the 509th B-2 Bomber’s Maintenance Squadron Commander at Whitman AFB, MO. Prior to assuming his final position at Eighth Air Force; he was the Chief, Commander’s Action Group for the Eighth Air Force Commander.
Colonel Hadden is married to the former Suzette K. Reser. They have two sons: Josh and Jon David.

Students participating in B.Y.O.T. must adhere to the JROTC classroom policy, Student Handbook, Acceptable Use Policy, and all School Board policies on using personnel technology.
