U.S. History Wordle

Welcome to U.S. History!  In this class I make every effort to teach you not only content but valuable skills you will use throughout your life.

About The Teacher..

I was born in Bossier and raised in Minden and West Monroe.  I graduated from West Monroe High School and then attended the University of Louisiana, Monroe where I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in History.  My husband and I moved to Houston shortly after we married and I taught at both Houston Community College and Lone Star College.  When we moved back I taught in Caddo Parish for one year; Red River Parish for five years; and this is my fifth year teaching at Parkway.  I am certified to teach both AP U.S. History as well as AP European History.  I also sponsor the Parkway chapter of the National Beta Club.

My husband and I have been married for 16 years.  We have a two year old daughter, Mollye, and two fur babies, Katie and Angel.

If you ever have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me either in person, via email:, or by phone: 759-2235.  I have also link my school Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram accounts to the right.

I look forward to working with you this year!
