About Me

Hi, I am Whitney Saucier, and I want to welcome each of you to my class. This is my 3rd year teaching here at Parkway High School, and I absolutely love it.  I have taught Foundations of Algebra, Algebra 1, and Algebra 1 Honors.

Here is a little bit about me: I was born and raised in Haughton, Louisiana. I graduated top of my class in 2014 from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. Within the next few years, I hope to obtain my Master's degree in Educational Leadership. In 2015, I was named the State's Outstanding New Teacher of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Teachers of Mathematics. This school year will be my 1st year as the cheerleader sponsor, and I am so excited to be working with a great group here at PHS. I currently live in Haughton where I am actively involved in my church and my community. I enjoy reading, watching Netflix, exercising, and spending time with my friends and family.

I look forward to teaching each of you this year!
