The vision of Parkway High School is to provide students the best high school experience as compared to any high school in the country.


The mission of Parkway High School is to provide a quality education, which will enable students to succeed in an ever-changing world.


If you attended the District Literary Rally in Natchitoches, your scores are in. Come by Mrs. Johnson's room (B264) if you would like to view your scores.

Sophomores: Applications for the Bossier Youth Leadership (BYL) are available on-line and are due no later than April 13, 2017. See Ms Dyche for more information.


Congratulations to Madelyn Elliott for making the 2017 All-Metro Girls Soccer Team!


Congratulations to the Parkway Bowling teams and Mr. Jenkins. 

Both teams are undefeated. The girls finished at 12-0 and the boys finished the season at 10-0. We bowl the 16th of March in our regional tournament for a chance to bowl in Houma over Spring break (March 27th). If we get through Houma, then we will travel to Baton Rouge for the Final Four on April 7th.


Juniors - Ring Ding tickets are now on sale in the library! It is $25 total for the package that includes tickets for your guests, a class shirt, memorabilia, and decorations! You must pay ALL of your FEES, before you can purchase your tickets! Tickets are on sale from now until Friday, March 24th!


Juniors, please send in your pictures for the slideshow for Ring Ding. Send a and a current picture to by April 7th, 2017! NO selfies or group pics, please!

The Parkway choir achieved straight ones in all categories at District 8 competition. They are will be attending state competition on April 26th, 27th, or 28th. This is the first time that this group has accomplished this feat. These students have worked really hard in achieving this victory. Thank you for your support! Please congratulate these students listed below. Go Parkway!

All American Spring Fling Dance! Dress code: sports or patriotic. Cost $5 advance $7 at door. March 24 from 7-11.


Parkway's ROTC will host its 44th Annual Military Ball: “A South Pacific Lau: In the Name of Freedom” on Friday, March 17 at 6 pm in the Auxiliary Gym.  Tickets prices are $15.  


If you are planning on attending Prom, you have to pay all your fees to attend. Ticket sales will start soon!



The Executive Women International Scholarship program is offering a $2000 scholarship to any senior, male or female. Qualifications are:

-plan to attend a 4 year college

-have demonstrated a financial need

-have a minimum 3.0 gpa

-have contributed to your community

One student will be chosen from Parkway to be a candidate for this scholarship opportunity.

I emailed you the application or come by counselor's office to pick one up.

Deadline to turn in to me is Friday, March 17th.

Juniors & Seniors: Barksdale AFB will be hosting a Medical Center Job Shadow Day on Friday, April 28th. If you are interested in this event, please go to the counselor's office for an application. (3-24)


Seniors: See Mrs. Hagar for many scholarship opportunities.


Applications for the Legislative Youth Advisory Council are in the counselors' office. They are due no later than March 22, 2017.


Seniors: The Jason Bland Power the Cure Scholarship is now open for you to apply. If you are planning to further your education in the sports medicine field or other medical field, please come by the counselor's office to pick up an application today! The deadline to turn in this scholarship is April 1.


Ring Ding will be on Saturday, May 13th at 4:00 pm in the Auxiliary Gym!


If you want to be in Senior or Junior video show, please submit no more than 5 pics to  Please send your name and grade with pictures. Please no baby pictures, only high school or middle school. If you don’t send, you’re not in. NO SELFIES PLEASE.
