Dear Parents,
The holiday season is in full swing, and we know your child’s Elf on the Shelf is hard at work spreading cheer and reporting back to the North Pole. However, we’ve recently learned that classroom germs are no match for elf immunity! If your child’s elf were to catch a bug, it could mean delayed reports to Santa—and nobody wants that!
To keep your elf in tip-top shape, we kindly ask that they stay cozy at home. After all, a healthy elf is a happy elf!

Benton Elementary will be performing Willy Wonka,Kids on Sunday, March 23rd at Airline High School. Any students interested in auditioning for the musical are encouraged to have a family member attend an interest meeting on November 19th at 6:00 p.m. in the BES Library. If you are unable to attend the interest meeting, audition information will be provided on the app and the school's Facebook page. Students K-4 are eligible to audition for the musical. Turkey Trot Field Day Information!
Our Turkey Trot Field Day will be happening next week! Hot Dog plates are for sale ONLINE. We are also going to have an in person Concession Stand this year. Tickets can be purchased online as well. We will also be selling tickets at Field Day. Please call the office if you have questions!
Students may wear red, white and blue on Monday.

PARENT LIGHTHOUSE INTEREST MEETING
Hello everyone! We will be having a Parent Lighthouse Interest Meeting on Monday October 28 at 3:45pm. This will give you the opportunity to learn more about what the Parent Lighthouse is and what they do! The Parent Lighthouse Team is a liaison between the school and the community, and helps to bridge the two together. You will also be able to hear from the current Parent Lighthouse Team. We would love for you to be able to attend! If you have any questions or are not able to attend but are interested, please email hanna.case@bossierschools.org.
