Today we kicked off our biggest fundraiser of the year - the Color Blast Fun Run and 5K! The Fun Run and 5K will be held on Saturday, October 19th in Downtown Benton. The Fun Run will be an awesome event that is FREE to every BES Student! HOW CAN YOU HELP?? 1. You can also register yourself and your family and friends for the 5K using the QR Code in the fundraising packet. This will be a fun and HEALTHY way to enjoy time together as a family while raising money for our school! 2. Help your students to collect pledges from family and friends! Each student is bringing home a fundraising envelope where they can collect money and have the chance to win exciting prizes. ***Since Benton Elementary is running this fundraiser with minimal outside help nearly all of the money raised goes straight back to our school. ** We only have a short time to raise the money since all money and pledges are due by October 14th. We have a goal of 100% student participation to raise $50,000. We have already made good progress towards this goal through the generosity of our business sponsors. We raised $10,000 in business sponsorships and now we need your help to make it to our BIG Goal! Attached to this message you will find a packet of information and a QR Code linking you to the race website. We appreciate our families so much and cannot wait to see you COLOR YOUR STRIPES on October 19th!

The BHS Soccer team is coming to Benton Elementary for a mini soccer clinic on Thursday, October 3rd! The clinic will begin immediately after school and end at 5:00 PM. The price is $35 and will include clinic fees, drinks, a snack, and a t-shirt. Be sure to complete the registration form attached to the Local Level Event for your student. Students that register after September 20th will have their t-shirt dropped off at the school after fall break. We will accept registrations for your child until the day of the clinic. Please be sure to write a change of transportation note on the day of the event, if your child will be staying after to participate! Thanks!
